Run 5 - 10 Kilometres - 5th June 2026 - 5/100
Every run generates data. A route traced on a map. A distance, a time and numbers that live in an app on your phone. This project is about changing that.
For 100 consecutive days I am aiming to run 10 kilometres a day and turning that data into daily drawings. Something tangible - something you can hold - proof that this run happened. The colours and shapes I paint and draw are inspired by what I saw on my run that day - the light, the terrain, the weather and the feeling of it. The final mark on every piece is the route itself, hand-stitched in thread, taken directly from my Strava route.
Materials: Each piece is an original - painted and drawn with a combination of different mediums. The route is embroidered by hand on 300gsm watercolour deckled torn edge paper, numbered in pencil as part of the series.
100 runs. 100 drawings. No prints, no reproductions.
All drawings are signed, dated and will be sent with a certificate of authenticity.
A note on dispatch: All 100 pieces will be exhibited together before they go to their new homes. The exhibition takes place on 2nd–3rd October, and originals will be dispatched the week following. When you purchase you're reserving your piece — you'll receive a digital image straight away, and your original will be on its way to you in October.
Size: Each piece measures 20.5cm × 20.5cm
Framing: Framing is available as an add on - each piece is professionally framed with a floating effect in a solid oak box frame measuring 25cm × 25cm. Your piece will arrive ready to hang straight from the box.
