Every run generates data. A route traced on a map. A distance. A time. And sometimes - a moment that changes everything.
A first marathon, a triathlon, your first 5K or a route you've run a hundred times. Whatever it was, it mattered. Let me turn it into a beautfiul piece of original art for your home.
The route: Send me a screenshot of your route from Strava, Garmin, Apple Watch, Nike Run Club, or any other tracking app - or if you ran a race, just send me the name and I'll find the route myself. I'll hand-stitch your exact route onto an original painted piece, made just for you.
The colours: You choose the colours - what you wore that day, the mood of the day, a palette you love, or take inspiration from any piece in the 100 day series. Tell me about the conditions - the hills, the heat, the weather, whether you cried at the finish line or felt like you could run forever. I'll translate all of it into different shapes and colours, and finish it with your route embroidered by hand in thread.
Mock up: Before I make anything, I'll send you a digital mock-up to approve. Once you're happy, I'll make the final piece. Your date and the name of your event can be added in pencil along the bottom edge.
Materials: Each custom piece is an original - A painted, mixed media piece (I typically use oil pastel, wax pastel, soft pastels and colour pencil) and embroidered by hand on 300gsm watercolour deckled edge paper with a natural torn edge, signed and made only for you. All drawings are signed, dated and will be sent with a certificate of authenticity.
Size: Each piece measures 20.5 cm × 20.5 cm. Framing is available as an add-on - a custom made professionally framed in a solid oak box frame measuring 25cm × 25cm, ready to hang straight from the box.
Shipping: Dispatch within two weeks of your mock-up being approved. Ships worldwide.
