Jen Madden is an Irish visual artist and creative educator based in the Blackdown Hills, South West UK. She holds a B.A. in Fine Art Painting from Limerick School of Art & Design and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Art and Design from the University of Reading.

In 2025, Jen completed a daily drawing project as a visual diary, documenting everyday moments, objects and places she encountered. The full collection will be exhibited in October 2026.

In 2026, Jen ran 10km every day for 100 days, transforming each run into an abstract artwork with its route hand-stitched into the paper. The project explored the relationship between data and art, celebrating the everyday effort and training that often goes unseen. She now creates bespoke running artworks for others, using colour, texture and stitched routes to capture the personal stories behind milestone runs, from first marathons to meaningful everyday routes.

Jen is also the founder of Drawing Club, a monthly art mail club with members across 52 countries, and the author of You Can Draw This, a practical drawing book published by Hachette UK in August 2026.

Alongside her own practice, Jen has collaborated with brands including Tesco, Olay, Derwent, Kimpton Fitzroy London (IHG) and SeaSpace Hotel creating artwork, content and creative experiences.
