Jen Madden is an Irish visual artist and art teacher based in the Blackdown Hills, South West UK. She holds a B.A. in Fine Art Painting from Limerick School of Art & Design and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Art and Design from the University of Reading.

Originally from Dublin, Jen has lived in multiple countries over the past decade, using her studio practice as a way of connecting with her surroundings. She draws inspiration from her environment, creating work that reflects the places she inhabits.

In 2025, Jen completed a daily drawing project as a visual diary, documenting everyday moments, objects, and places she encountered. The full works will be exhibited in September 2026.

In 2026, she is continuing this exploration by creating one painting a week throughout the year. Her work celebrates the beauty of simple familiar moments and things, transforming them into thoughtful pieces of art.

Jen has worked with brands such as Tesco, Olay, Kimpton Fitzroy Hotel and Painta app.
