1:1 Artist Mentoring

Before our first session

Before we meet, I’ll send you a short questionnaire so I can learn a little more about you, your work and what you’d most like help with.

You can also send me links to your website and social media, as well as anything specific you’d like me to look at. I’ll spend some time going through everything beforehand so we can make the most of our hour together.

Initial Mentoring Session | £100

Our first session is a 60-minute 1:1 call via Google Meet.

We’ll talk through where you are now, what you’d like to work towards and the areas where you feel you need the most support. From there, we can start working through your priorities together and come up with some clear, realistic next steps.

Your initial session also includes my preparation beforehand, including reviewing your questionnaire, website, social media and anything else you’d like to send over.

Afterwards, I’ll send you a short summary of what we discussed and some practical next steps.

Follow-up Mentoring Session | £85

Once we’ve had our initial session, you can book individual 60-minute follow-up sessions whenever you feel you need them.

We can check in on what you’ve been working on, troubleshoot anything you’ve found difficult and continue working through your priorities together.

Three Follow-up Sessions | £225

If you’d like more ongoing support, you can book a block of three 60-minute follow-up sessions for £225 (£75 per session).

These give us more time to work towards your goals, try things between sessions and build on your progress as we go.

For example, we might use one session to simplify your content and posting process, another to work through filming and video editing, and another to look at your website and overall visual presence.

All sessions take place online via Google Meet. Dates and times will be arranged by email following booking.

Sometimes it’s really helpful to have another artist to talk things through with.

My 1:1 mentoring sessions are relaxed, practical conversations designed to help you work through the areas of your creative practice or business where you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed or simply unsure what to do next.

I’m a practising visual artist and former art teacher, and over the past few years I’ve built my own creative practice into a full time career. Along the way I’ve grown an online community, sold my work, launched my mail club Drawing Club, created and worked with brands and published my first book.

I’ve learned a huge amount along the way (often through trial and error!) and these sessions are a chance for me to share that experience with you and help you figure out what might work for your own creative practice.

What can we work on?

Every session is tailored to you and what you need help with. We might look at things like:

  • Building a social media presence around your art

  • Creating content and finding ideas for what to post

  • Developing a simple, sustainable posting routine

  • Filming and editing Reels or TikToks

  • Photographing and presenting your artwork

  • Developing your visual identity

  • Reviewing your website or online shop

  • Pricing and selling your work

  • Brand collaborations and creative opportunities

  • Building confidence in sharing your work online

  • Finding direction when you have lots of ideas but aren't sure what to focus on

We don’t need to tackle everything at once. We can use the sessions to focus on the areas that would make the biggest difference to you right now, with practical things to try between each session.
